Ben was delighted to be asked to contribute to this article in The Guardian online!

The article relates to a breakthrough learning resource for innovators and entrepreneurs, the so-called 'Museum of Failure' which is headed for the UK!
The Museum of Failure (MOX) is a curated, globally touring exhibition showcasing over 150 failed products and services to promote learning from innovation mistakes. Created by Dr. Samuel West, it highlights that innovation requires risk-taking and inevitable failure en-route to success. It aims to destigmatize failure by showing that global brands are as susceptible to getting things wrong as start-ups, but highlights how addressing set-backs with the right mindset can often lead to breakthrough pivots!
One of The Guardian's reporters had heard about the innovation coaching initiatives Ben and a US-based entrepreneurship coaching team were delivering, which includes topics such as embracing experimental failure to enhance innovation culture, and the importance of a learning mindset to pushing boundaries and achieving breakthrough outcomes.
The workshops are based on the story of little-known Silicon Valley tech start-up, General Magic, visionary pioneers of the first smart-phone, as told in the docu-movie of the same title.
The Museum of Failure will make its first-ever UK exhibition appearance in February at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026.
